Experience post: Visit to Art Works Gallery

This visit was very helpful because it allowed me to visualize how exactly the work will look on the wall (I was imagining a different studio Coach had brought us to before in my head, so I'm glad I'm now imagining the correct one). This is especially true for my playing cards home project (which I'm thinking about calling "Full House"), which will require a lot of thinking about the space around the work.

Looking at all the artists' studios also got me thinking about a future in art in general. It's almost like the artist equivalent of an office, but people can walk around it like a mall. I now understand why it's a big deal for Art Works to allow us to do a show in their main space too --- this is a place for professional artists! That's pretty exciting.
