Bottom Line: Home progress post 1

So for this week, I have outlined my idea for the home project. I'm hoping to do up to nine portraits but I'm gonna start by doing three portraits of the same subject.

I'm also trying to practice my portraiture by drawing people that I know from life because my art teacher, Coach Hall, pointed out that portraits that are drawn from life can have a lot more depth than portraits that are drawn from just online photos theses. I've been sketching in my sketchbook of people that I know; I'm trying to capture their likeness as fast as possible so that when I actually execute this project, I'm not constrained by a really long arduous process keeps my subjects sitting in one place for too long. In these practices, subjects were moving or shifting a little bit (I let my sister work on her stuff while I was drawing her), and I'm hoping to begin painting my sister's more detailed portrait in next week's session.
